Unrevealed secrets of the Zharma region

By Word Of Mouth  » Unrevealed secrets of the Zharma region

I think that everyone who considers himself a citizen of Kazakhstan should know the history of his country and native land. Therefore, I decided to study the secrets of my native Zharminskiy district. I was especially interested in the burial site of Kyz Beyiti or Kyz Aulie, which is located on the western side of the highway along the Shar River, seven kilometers before Suykbulak. There are many legends about this burial. Here is one of them. In the 30s of the 19th century, a mullah named Mamazhai lived on the territory of the modern Konyrbiik rural district. When Mamajay reached middle age, his daughter was born. Already in infancy, the girl began to show unusual abilities.

One day Mamazhay decided to rest a little, but the child lying in the cradle began to cry and be capricious. Even when the girl was rocked in the cradle, she did not calm down. The father got angry and shouted in anger: “May you dislocate your jaw!” Then the girl stopped crying and Mamazhay heard the words: “May your own jaw dislocate, Mamazhay!” With fear, Mamazhay ran to the cradle and opened the girl’s face, but she looked at him as if nothing had happened. Mamazhay decided that it was his imagination, but still performed the ritual of fumigating the cradle with fire smoke – alastau.

After some time, history repeated itself. But only Mamazhay knew about this, and he didn’t have the courage to tell others. When the girl learned to sit, she began to talk.

When the girl was three years old, she turned to her mother with the question: “What does that red-green thing weigh up there?” The mother remembered that she had prepared multi-colored threads for knitting, and decided that her daughter was asking her exactly about this.

At the age of five, the girl opened the Koran and began to read. When the father saw this, he was frightened and was overcome with gloomy forebodings. He called clairvoyant shamans to tell fortunes for his daughter. But they told the father that the girl was absolutely healthy.

The girl began to be considered a saint. People from all over the area came to her for advice and help. And, indeed, as she grew, her abilities became stronger. She predicted future events, found the causes of illness, and none of those who turned to her left inconsolable. Unfortunately, at a very young age the girl dies from the evil eye. And since then, her grave has been called Kyz Beyiti or Kyz Aulie. They protect the burial, take care of it, and come to Kyz Aulie to pray for health. Kuatbek Zhaidarman.
