The girls glorified the village every day, and the fire of glory burned brighter and brighter. The news about the beauties could not but reach Khan Abylai. And Abylai was going to visit Sibinka for the sake of interest. He gathered his batyr friends and set off on his way. Of course, Sibinka also heard rumors that the Khan himself decided to visit their modest monastery. The whole village amicably set about preparing for the arrival of the guests, only Dayana, having learned about the arrival of Abylai, closed herself in her yurt and did not let anyone in.
The residents of the village prepared a magnificent celebration in honor of the arrival of the noble batyrs. The tables were full of various dishes: baursaks, kazy, besbarmak, and much more.
He turned out to be a noble, and all the visiting warriors – but why lie, and Abylai himself! – we were fascinated by the local beauties. That’s just that no one seemed to notice Dayana either during toya or during aitys (by the way, Dayana skillfully played the dombra), and even during the dances, not a single batyr invited her to dance. The girl was overcome with fierce hatred and unrestrained rage towards the girls, and especially towards Shalkar, because the Khan himself showed her signs of attention.
Diana left the party without saying a word to anyone. Anger, rage, and hatred completely captured her. Dayana ran all night, not understanding the road, not seeing or hearing anything. It was black all around, but it was even blacker in Dayana’s heart. It was as if an icy wind was raging inside her. She ran, whispering curses, and suddenly felt that she was lifting off the ground and flying, spinning around herself. Diana turned into a terrible tornado and flew around the world, gaining strength from human malice and injustice.
At that time, the war ended in the village, and the khan and four of his best warriors decided to marry the beautiful sisters. And the next day, the preparations for the wedding began. The grooms went home to get kalym, but their hearts were out of place. The horsemen did not want to leave their brides, but what can they do? The batyrs felt that trouble was threatening the beauties. They soon set off on their way back, but a terrible storm blocked their way…
Meanwhile, a tornado was raging in the village. The wind whistled so that it hurt my ears; the sky was covered with the blackest clouds; sand, like a wall, rose to the sky and began to fill up the village. And then a thunderstorm began, and lightning struck the yurts over and over again. The batyrs could not break through to their loved ones. The horsemen prayed that the tornado would leave the girls alive. For the first time, the warriors believed in God so much, and for the first time they prayed so fiercely that their lips were numb. Allah heard the prayers of those who love, but He could no longer give the five beauties a human life…
When the tornado suddenly subsided in the morning, there was no trace of the village. There were only five lakes in that place that amazed the eye with their beauty, purity and depth. And granite rocks rose up all around, as if protecting the lakes from all misfortunes.
The horsemen could not find worthy candidates for wives, they could not forget their beauties, so they devoted their lives to serving the people. Abylai Khan returned to those lakes and built the Shalkar, Ablaikit monastery of Ablai on the middle lake. In memory of his love.
